DTI Completes Department of Energy Contract for High Definition Autostereoscopic 3D Displays |

DTI has completed a contract from Department of Energy that proved the feasibility of its new autostereoscopic 3D that is switchable between perfect 2D and autostereoscopic audience view 3D. The no-glasses 3D images possess two to three times the resolution that is available on existing autostereoscopic multiview displays. Today's autostereoscopic displays are "Wow, look it's 3D" devices that are used mainly for advertising and digital signage. These DTI enhancements to flat panel displays will go beyond the "wow factor" to become practical devices that will be immediately useful to vertical markets like non regulated medical. DTI's patented technology can be scaled to apply from cell phones and hand held devices to large flat panel displays. The Company intends to license this attractive superior 2D/3D technology.
